THE CHALETS

Simple and elegant, six mountain chalets are hidden like little jewels amidst lush green meadows. Each chalet has two storeys (around 85 square metres) – perfect for between two and five people.

Thanks to their concept of sustainable construction, the chalets mirror the surrounding natural landscape: the exterior facades in local wood recall the nearby forests of fir trees, the stone steps of Dolomite rock, the large windows that reflect the immense expanse of sky with its shades of deep blue that fill the large front windows.

The rooms flooded with light are especially welcoming because they are pervaded with warmth and wellbeing. All the chalets have two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a Finnish sauna, a solarium terrace with a breathtaking view and an independent entrance. Here, you can bask in the sun or simply enjoy pleasurable moments.

HOW TO GET HERE

No cars. No traffic. No problem. The chalets are located at an altitude of 2,000 metres and can only be reached by the “Rotwand (Croda Rossa)” cable car, which leaves from Moos in Sexten. This extraordinary experience starts from the moment you buy your cable car ticket (not included in the price). Boarding the cable car, you finally break away from the daily round and you can enjoy the view of the mountain landscape into which you are suddenly immersed while swaying gently in the breeze and whizzing towards the high peaks. After around ten minutes in the cable car, you will reach your private chalet just 200 metres away.

CATERING

We will deliver your shopping list and everything you need to your chalet. After all, even at altitude, no limits should be placed on the creativity of good amateur cooks.

If, on the other hand, you prefer to be pampered by the seductive aroma of the traditional cuisine then you are in the right place at the Prati di Croda Rossa Mountain Shelter, next to the chalets. Here, regional specialities are served at midday and, on certain days, evening meals are available.
Take away dishes are always available, also for dinner.

Last but not least, you can order your favourite dishes from the Mountain Shelter’s menu and enjoy them in your own chalet. Take a note of the opening times of the Prati di Croda Rossa Mountain Shelter: from the end of May until the middle of October and from December to Easter. Closing day is Wednesday, before and after the season.
